DC Advocacy: Strata Property Owners

The IWIC Owners Corp*, a division of DC Advocacy, works to raise awareness of their rights under state and territory laws. In states such as New South Wales, laws that regulate the power of strata agencies and strata committees have undergone radical changes in recent years, significantly expanding the rights of owners. However, the enforcement of these laws depends on the ability of individual owners to report violations to relevant governing bodies – something which cannot happen if owners remain unaware of their rights or who they can appeal to if those rights are breached.
